Picnic is a multi-cuisine communal dining restaurant that houses multiple food trucks. Voidworks was tasked to design a modern ordering and payment kiosk design thats focuses on being an efficient system that provides upfront information to consumers.
In order to achieve an appealing and consistent system, each menu is differentiated only by color and background. A photoshoot of which Voidworks provided Art Direction for was held to create customised backgrounds that consisted of each cuisines’ ingredients and brand color.

Check Out and Payment System
Based on a buzzer system, diners would scan their buzzer on the kiosk to check out their receipts individually or as a group. Loyalty logins and redemption, as well as feedback features are done at the kiosk as well.
In order to create a smooth process, every step of the check out and payment processes included customised illustrations and animations whenever necessary.
